Hi everyone! Happy February. The semester's started back up and I've got lots of pics to share! :)

Another Injury for the List

At our annual Winter Staff Retreat, I broke my finger playing one of the most intense sports of all - Hacky sack. Don't ask me how I pulled that off.

Luckily, it's almost back to normal! I've been nervous to try disc golf but I'm starting to feel confident enough to try later this week!

Students are back!

After a long break, our students are back in town ready to start the second half of the school year. We've had several events to kickoff the semester! We've had a surprising amount of new students check us out, who we had never met in the fall!

Our first Thursday night was spent with a firepit. A female student noticed us while walking by, joined us for a few minutes, and has since gotten involved in a Core!

We had our first core of the semester! Our snacks included Hot Cheetos, Squirt, and cake - Covering all the major food groups

Here are the SMU students who made it out to our Winter Retreat a few weeks ago! We had like 500 students drive out throughout the weekend. Praise God!

Family Night

On Saturday, February 18 at 4pm, we're going to have our annual Family Night!

Family Night is a time where parents, families, friends and mentors can come and experience a typical Thursday Night Fellowship for themselves! Hello friends! Thanks for checking out my monthly ministry update. For those who are new here, welcome !! Thank you so very much for your support. I pray that these monthly updates encourage you as you catch a glimpse into the many wonderful things God is doing on the college campus. Staff Trip! I've got lots of pictures to share from this month! As of June, I've officially transitioned from the UTD FOCUS Minister Staff to SMU's! We took a hiking trip at the Palo Duro Canyon last weekend to get to know one another better before the year starts, and to meet each's significant others! Sunset and Sunrise

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for your support and for keeping up with how God's been moving on the college campus and in our case, SMU! I hope this update blesses you. Fun stuff! I took a bunch of students to a local park and taught them how to play disc golf! We had a sweet view of the Dallas skyline and thought we'd take a selfie. From left to right we have myself, Will, Jonathan, Brenden, David, Quinn, and John! After being in college for 4 years and in campus ministry for an extra year, I finally went to a college football game. Here you'll see Will (who I'll tell you about later in this blog) and Quinn (who I've been studying the Bible with this semester!) Erin and I snagged a pic at the second game, this last Saturday! We were supposed to wear blue but don't have any SMU shirts so I wore UTD and she wore UTA lol. The FOCUS students roasted us for it when we met up with them. H ey everyone! I hope you enjoyed Halloween if you had any festivities this year. And I hope you've been enjoying the cooler weather. It's given me the chance to finally try out my SMU hoodie! Fall Retreat! Once a year in the Fall, we'll invite our students to a retreat center outside the city for a weekend! It went extremely well! We worshiped together, heard several students share their stories, and spent a ton of time building relationships through games, crafts, and 1-on-1 "walk & talks" through nature!
